Organizational Structure
For its successful and inclusive governance, Alarm Ministries is governed by 3 main bodies, each with well-defined responsibilities:
- The General Assembly
This is the supreme body of the organization. She is empowered to make decisions on all matters relating to the mission, vision and major strategic directions of the organization. It elects and dismisses the members of the Board of Directors and other statutory bodies. It decides on the membership and removal of members of the organization
- The Board of Directors
The board of directors provides oversight and strategic guidance to an organization. It's responsible for making major decisions, setting policies, and ensuring the organization's long-term success. The members of the Board of Directors are elected from among the full members of the organization. However, the organization may solicit other members outside the sphere of its members on the basis of their expertise
- Executive Committee
He is responsible for the daily management of the organization. It is headed by an Executive Secretary who is elected from among the effective members of the organization as well as the staff in charge of the departments, units, etc. making up the organization. It advises and prioritizes issues for board members to handle. It provides leadership, guidance, and oversight to an organization, plays a key role in driving the organization's success, and ensures decisions made align with the company's mission, vision, and goals.
Statement of Faith
The sole basis of our beliefs is the Bible, God's infallible written Word, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe that it was uniquely, verbally and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it was written without error (inerrant) in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.
We accept those areas of doctrinal teaching on which, historically, there has been general agreement among all true Christians. Because of the specialized calling of our movement, we desire to allow for freedom of conviction on other doctrinal matters, provided that any interpretation is based upon the Bible alone, and that no such interpretation shall become an issue which hinders the ministry to which God has called us.
