Alarm Ministries is a regional faith-based organization with an evangelical and development vocation. It is apolitical and non-profit. After the genocide perpetrated against the Tutsi in 1994, the hearts of Rwandans were broken and traumatized by the unhuman tragedies they experienced, after having lost everything and without hope of living again. It was necessary to mind of revenge which was boiling in the hearts of some, at the same time to mitigate criminal eruptions in others. The organization come to help and support many widows and orphans, comforting the wounded and angry spirits, working on the broken hearts’ rehabilitation and reconciliation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and counseling as well as the relief of economic suffering ... That is the context in which Alarm Ministries was created. When the country began to stabilize, the organization changed its approach to begin working on sustainable development programs with the aim of contributing to national development programs paired with the Gospel of broken hearts healing. Growing in size and impact, Alarm Ministries currently has presence in Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo as well as the United States of America
